Parker, Franklin D., Orozco, Manuel S., Walker, Thomas W., Arguello, Rosendo and Nietschmann, Bernard. "Nicaragua." Encyclopedia Britannica, Invalid Date, https://www.britannica.com/place/Nicaragua. Accessed 9 March 2021.
The next country that I was interested in was a country named Nicaragua. I don’t very much about this country, but I am curious to know how things are when it comes to culture, food, and cost of living. Orozco states that, the Country Nicaragua is in the Caribbean Sea and is the largest Central American republics. Orozco insists that, the country was colonized by the Spanish and the British. The country population is much bigger than I expected, and it surprised me to learn that it's still recovering from the dictatorship (Parker, ). The country is not as diverse with most people there are Spanish/Indian, 2nd white, 3rd black (Parker, ethnic groups). Most of the population speaks Spanish though there used to be Indian languages, but they disappeared (Parker, Languages). Parker states that there is no official religion in Nicaragua and that one half of the population are Roman Catholic. This country has more things to it That I'm still learning about, but I have enough interest to continue to do more research about it.
Britannica, The Editors of Encyclopedia. "British Virgin Islands". Encyclopedia Britannica, Invalid Date, https://www.britannica.com/place/British-Virgin-Islands. Accessed 9 March 2021.
After doing some research I had no idea these kinds of areas existed. but I wonder how things are on the islands. Britannica, The Editors of Encyclopedia insists that It is part of an island chain collectively known as the Virgin Islands, which makes up the northeastern extremity of the Greater Antilles. Puerto Rico lies to the west. Britannica states that the island consists an overwhelming majority of African slaves, and the Europeans make up the small minority of the islanders. English is the official language on the island. Their economy when the weather is perfect and can provide more half the population and is the largest employer (Britannica, economy). Britannica states that, they live off mixed cultures such as European, African, and Caribbean. They also state that, they play European kind of sports like Soccer(football), Cricket, and some American sports as well. Back then the islands were occupied by the Arawak Indians before the Dutch took over. Roman Emperor Charles insisted that the Spanish attack and claim the islands. Decades later the British Overseas Territory act granted British citizenship to its people (Jeff, History).
I like your blog set up. There are a few grammatical issues that need to be fixed but other than that, this is an enjoyable blog.
